He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelmina Bruyn and Dominicus Bruyn. He is survived by: his wife Maria; his stepdaughter Jennifer Haslett (Paul Wright); his stepgrandson Sam; his siblings, Domi (Karen) and Ron (Sue); his sister-in-law Brenda Bruyn; and his siblings, Eleanor (Al) and Reg.
