With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edith Claire Emery Machan (Waterloo, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 24, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Glenn Emery and Glen Machan; her son John; her grandson Alexander; and her parents, Mildred Dickson and Bertram Dickson.
She is survived by: her sisters, Betsy Eydt and Mary Campbell; her children, Christine Gillespie (Jamie Coatsworth) and George Emery (Krystina Contini); her stepdaughters, Janice Willwerth (Andy van der Velden) and Dr. Carolyn Machan (Don Rudolph); her grandchildren, Peter, Matthew, Joseph, Francis, Emily, Isaac, Georgia, Meredith, Jackson and Scarlett; and her great grandchildren, Beckett, Colette and Isla.
