He was predeceased by: his brothers, Oscar and Hilbert; his wife Doris Schedewitz; and his son Jim Schedewitz. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Marion Schedewitz; his children, Sandra Janzen (Jack) and Kelley Schedewitz (Jodi); his stepchildren, Deb Chappell (Richard) and Michael Chappell (Ginger); his grandchildren, Sarah Frahn (Jeremy), Brandon Chappell, Kate Henderson (Rich), Brad Schedewitz (Sarah), Jacob Janzen (Tyralea), Jessica Chappell (Quinn), Zak Vizeau and Paige Carlson; and his great grandchildren, Oliver, Briel, Maddy, Brixton, Carson and Charley.
In lieu of flowers, donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or Lutheran Hour Ministries c/o Lutheran Laymen's League of Canada would be appreciated.
