We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Dorothy Olivia Luft of Waterloo, Ontario, born in Mildmay, Ontario. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Albert; her siblings, Alice Haelzle, Jerome, Leonard, Frank, Stanley, Harold and Raymond Durrer; and her daughter-in-law Debbie Luft.
She is survived by: her children, Barry Luft (Karina), James Luft (Tina), Laurie Partridge (Arthur) and Donna MacLean (Allan); her grandchildren, Tyler Luft (Adrienne), Kelly Schiedel (Ryan), Jessica Luft (David), Jacob Luft (Candace), Zachary Luft, Alex Luft, Kristi Pearce (Chris), Jody Blissett (Russ), Ashley Partridge, Lindsay Maskell (Scott) and Scott MacLean (Kaitlin); her great grandchildren, Mya, Isaac Luft, Charlie, Nash Schiedel, Taylor, Brooklynn Pearce, Harper, Ronan Blissett, Katrina, Dominic Wojcik, Logan, Hannah Maskell, Lena and Macie MacLean; her siblings, Betty Borho and Lorne Durrer (Fran); and her siblings-in-law, Patricia Durrer, William Luft (Shirley) and Robert Luft (Nancy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A prayer was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Teresa Parish (44 Leonard St, Kitchener, ON N2H6C8).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospice of Waterloo Region would be greatly appreciated by the family.
