She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Ritter; her parents, John House and Georgina House; her sister Marlene Soehner (Sonny); and her brothers-in-law, George (Ruth) and Harold Ritter (Merle).

She is survived by: her sister Sharon MacEwing (Alex) of Maryhill; her nieces, Kristie Vasarhelyi (Ted) and Victoria; her nephew Ryan MacEwing; and her siblings-in-law, Fred of Orillia, Fran Reger (Lorne) of Waterloo, Grace McCandless (Elgin) and Jean Adamson (George) of Elmira. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
