He was predeceased by: his wife Jane Eyre Hemming; and his niece Anne Hemming. He is survived by: his children, Lynda Hemming (Brett Nelson), Sally, Judy and Christopher; his granddaughter Sarah Nelson; his brother Michael Hemming (Rachel); his niece Elizabeth Grange; and his sisters-in-law, Sylvia Eyre, Patricia Danaher (Brian) and Maureen Eyre.
