He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Judy Heffernan; his children, David (Deanna Benvie) and Jeff; his parents, Norma and David; and his siblings, Tim (Dianne), Terry (Judy), Dennis (Janet), Kathleen, Patrick (Erin), Michael (Kirsten) and Meg. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation - Cancer Centre or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
