He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Bob Wells; and his siblings, Gertrude Moyer (Donald), Ruth Roberts (Ted), Bruce, Margaret Clarke, Keith Clarke and Elwyn Eby.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret Clarke; his children, Elizabeth Wells of Owen Sound, Margaret Burkholder (Daniel) of St. Thomas, Lois Musselman (Dave) of Owen Sound, Dr. David Clarke (Kathy) of Parry Sound, Gwen Houston (Dave) of Timmins and Anne Guenther (Lawrence) of Waterloo; his siblings, Douglas Clarke of Whitchurch-Stouffville and Louise Clarke of Aurora; and his sisters-in-law, Ruth Clarke of Vineland, Elizabeth Eby of St. Jacob's and Norma Jordan (Jerry) of St. Jacob's.
