She was predeceased by: her husband Norm Jan Slothouber; her parents, Henk Vermeulen and Bep Vermeulen (Broekhuis); her brother Ad Vermeulen; her son-in-law Mike Renaud; her granddaughter Jessica Marie Slothouber; and her siblings-in-law, Marie Slothouber, Minette DeWitt, Eric, Niek, Bem Slothouber and Ted Minnema.
She is survived by: her children, Jack (Betty), Mike (Cathie), Bette Harley (Alan) and Kathy Williams (Glyn); her grandchildren, Chris, Norm (Sonia), Steve (Brittany), Nick (Erin), Tom (Holly), Cora (Jordan), Beth, Simon, Marissa and Callum; her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Cora and Hendrix; her siblings, Henk Vermeulen (Marianne), Tena Minnema and Willy Kamphuis (Jack); and her sisters-in-law, Jane Slothouber of Smithville, ON, Dora Slothouber and Joke Karsenbarg.
Cora passed away, peacefully at Trinity Village on February 28, 2018 after a lengthy struggle with Alzheimer's dementia.
