He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen and Peggy; his nieces, Anne, Marie and Mona; and his nephew Neil.

He is survived by: his wife Esta McKinley; and his nephews, Brian, Kevin, Steve (Nanci), Chris of Canada, Ted, Raymond, Desmond, Michael, Gerard and John of Australia.
