She was predeceased by: her former husband Rudolf Ritter; and her husband Fred Laier. She is survived by: her children, Julia Bourdon of Waterloo, ON, Karin Ritter of Pittsboro, NC and Michael Ritter of Langley, BC; her grandchildren, Alexander Ritter and Charlotte Bourdon of Waterloo, ON; and her son-in-law Stephen Bourdon of Waterloo, ON. She is also survived by friends, her beloved dogs.
Because of COVID-19, a celebration of Brigitte's life will be held at a later date.
