He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey and Dorothy; and his siblings, Herman, Russell, Janet Staye, Ruth Preston and Karen.
He is survived by: his siblings, Grant (Sheryl) of Calgary, AB and Brenda Bosomworth (David) of Elora; his brothers-in-law, Ross Staye of Kitchener and Gerry Preston of Bayfield; and his friend Lucy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
