She was predeceased by: her grandparent Shirley; her parents, Shirley Harman and George Harman; her brother Donald Harman; and her husband William Thom (Bill).

She is survived by: her children, Heather Parkhill (Mike) and Stephen Thom (Jill); her grandchildren, Scott, David Parkhill (Danielle Winter), Matthew (Ali Iwai), Katie, Emma, Victoria Thom and Honorary; her nephew John Lougheed; her close friends, Gwen Bird, Marion, Grahame Farquhar and Janice Bryson; and her caregivers, Bernadette, Gursharan, Martha and Mia. She is also survived by in-laws and six grandchildren, cared for her Mom.
