She was predeceased by: her husband Owen; her parents, Sydney Hooper and Agnes Hooper; and her siblings, Robert Hooper (Jan) and Doreen Baulk (Walter).

She is survived by: her children, Jo Anne Aitken (John) and Stephen Day; and her granddaughter Justine Black. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
