She was predeceased by: her husband Lorne (Sparky); her parents, Donald Balcarras and Ada Balcarras (Pringle); her daughter Amanda; her grandson Luke; and her brothers, Donald and Arthur Balcarras.
She is survived by: her children, Kathryn (Dennis), Kerry (Fred), Kris (Kim) and Kim (Ed); her grandchildren, Tegan (Jon), Jeff (Elyse), Stephanie (Trevor), Lisa and Eric; and her great grandchildren, Adalynn and Kayda.
