He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugo Paul and Gertrude Paul; his sister Irene Lahosky (Vic); and his parents-in-law, Gerald Thiel, Bert Thiel (Jessie), Donny Thiel (Lorraine) and Grant Thiel.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary; his children, Stephen (Edie), David (Penny Stevens), Dennis (Jami) and Maryanne Paul; his grandchildren, Nikki (Brendan), Spencer, Alex (Mickayla) and Simon; and his parents-in-law, Doug Thiel (late Sue), Carl Thiel (Beverley), Gord Thiel (Kirsten), Bruce Thiel (late Sharon), Donna and Catherine Thiel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
