He was predeceased by: his grandson Jason; his siblings, Rosemarie, Lorence and Clendon; and also Vivien.

He is survived by: his husband Mildred (Bloomfield); his children, Larry, Don and Darrell; his great grandchildren, Bronson, Jaden, Stella, Brayden, Cole, Mindy and Heidi; his brother Bob Slaght; and his sibling-in-law Mary Slaght. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to Boston Baptist Church, Christian Service Centre or Gideon Bibles.
