She was predeceased by: her husband Antonio Martins; and her siblings, Rosario Mantua (Carlos) and Antonio Varao (Alzira). She is survived by: her daughter Maria Goble (Vernon); her grandchildren, Chris Martins and Jason Goble (Akudo); and her siblings, Guilherme Varao (late Teresa), Adriano Varao (Joana) and John Varao (late Irondina). She is also survived by her nieces, and nephews.
As expressions of sympathy donations may be made in memory of Maria to Norfolk Haldimand Community Hospice or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
