He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Tracy Patterson; his sons, Tyler Sheedy (Melinda) and Jason Sheedy; his parents, Loisann Patterson and Richard Patterson; his nieces, Cassandra, Lauren and Sydney; his nephew Liam; and his friends, Karen and Bill Flahive.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Thompson-Mott Funeral Home Chapel (62 Main St N, Waterford, ON N0E1Y0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 3rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.

As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Juravinski Cancer Centre or Happy's Place Retirement Home for Dogs.
