It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sadie (Fennema) Mantel (Waterdown, Ontario), who passed away on January 4, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband George. She is survived by: her children, Sadie Mantel, Louise Vis (Bob), Marlene Rowaan (Arie), Harold Mantel (Sukyi), John Mantel (Jodie) and Sheila Koning (Rodney); her grandchildren, Katie (Jax), Laura (Allan), Danielle (Dan), Brendan (Yohanna), Kevin (Nikki), Alex (Mikhaila), Lucy, Nathan (Sabrina), Andrew, Hailey-Jo, Heather, Aaron (Erin), Rachel (Danny), Rebecca (Adam), Leah and Rheanna; her siblings, Tine, John Fennema (Tine), Henry Fennema, Nellie, Joe Fennema, Wilma Fennema and Betty; and her siblings-in-law, Peter, Sophie, Bill, Nellie, Karl Mantel (Anne), Lena Sluis (Ted) and John Mantel (Wilma). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
