She was predeceased by: her spouse Paul Francis McCarthy; her siblings, Teresa Weadick, Anne Steffler, Frances Mollison, Carmel Noonan, Bernice Beitz and Tom Steffler; her grandson Bart Daniel; and her friend Marg Clair.
She is survived by: her children, Paul, Brian (Joyce), Dianne (Bart), Nancy (Randy) and Carol; her siblings, Jack Steffler and Joyce Steffler; and her sibling-in-law Eileen Steffler. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to either the Marian Hall renovation fund, or Sick Kids Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
