He is survived by: his wife Lucy; his children, George, Diane, John, Jacqueline, Lana, Rick Tong, Alita and Roger Barnes; his grandchildren, Christie (Kerry), Dallas (Nicole), Cody, Alyssa (David), Brittany (Jack), Dane, Tori, Trinity, Deion, Landon, David, Ethan, Lauren and Skylar; and his siblings, Gerald (Marg Vander Kooi), Ank Kos, Ate (Cobi Vander Kooi), Henk (Hetty Tiesma) and Klaas (Lineke Tiesma).
