He was predeceased by: his wife Marie; his parents, Russell McCartney and Alma McCartney of Carlisle; and his siblings, Lee (Vera), Vera (Bill) and Lenore (Lawrence).
He is survived by: his children, Dave (Joanne), Doug, Dan (Heather), Helen (Don) and Stephen; his close friend Lynn Gladstone; and also, Andrew (Robyn), Laura (Bill) and Gladstone.
Due to pandemic gathering restrictions, on site participation in the Funeral Service is by invitation only, where all others are invited to participate using the livestream link under Events on the website obituary.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Dad to the Carlisle United Church or the Alzheimer's Society would be greatly appreciated.
