He is survived by: his spouse Aly (Schilthuis); his children, Brenda Visser (Mike), James Koning (Tanya), Nancy Berg (Josh), David Koning (Natalie) and Laurie Koning; his grandchildren, Melanie (Lewis), Dayton, Sydney, Troy, Melissa, Derek, Meaghan, Jakob, Ethan, Abby, Madelyn and Josiah; his great grandchild Kal; and his brothers, Dave (Ann) and Dick (Sandra). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
