He was predeceased by: his wife Katharina; and his siblings, Renate Stoddart and Gerhard Fritz (Lina). He is survived by: his children, Gerald (Marina), Robert (Melanie) and Debbie; his grandchildren, Jordan, Brandon, Aaron, Shawn and Sarah; and his brother-in-law Jack Stoddart.
