John Hoeksema Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John Hoeksema (Waterdown, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 58, on November 11, 2018. He was predeceased by: his father Jacob Hoeksema; his parent-in-law Shirley Morrison; and his sister Debbie. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his son Eric Hoeksema; his mother Aleida Hoeksema; his brother Don Hoeksema (Pat); his brother-in-law Art Davignon; his father-in-law Douglas; and his brothers-in-law, Scott Morrison (Joanne), Brad Morrison (Shelley) and David Morrison. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and close friends.

While he was taken far to soon, his time spent with us made all of our lives richer for the time he was with us. A great father, husband and friend I couldn’t ask for better family than John. He will not just be an uncle to us but a role model for who we aspire to be. All our love goes out to you and Eric in these trying times.
