She was predeceased by: her father George Reed. She is survived by: her husband Brian; her daughters, Allyson (Dave) and Michelle (Paul); her grandchildren, Evan, Leah, Jacob, Nathan and Emily; her pets, Tasha and Tucker; her mother Lola Reed; and her caregiver Sandra.

“I first knew Joan when she was my father’s secretary at the Toronto General Hospital, Biochemistry Dept. When Yvonne and I got married in July 1976, both my high school buddy, Brian and Joan were invited. They met there for the first time at Fantasy Farms in Toronto. They hit it off, and started dating.
