He was predeceased by: his wife Beth; and his sister Idell Weir (Frank). He is survived by: his children, Bert (Mary Lynne), Peter (Debbie), Stephen (Karen), John and Michael; his grandchildren, Beth (Dan), Kathy (Sean), Tim (Anna), Shane, Sharon (Nelson), David, William (Leigh), Christine (Scott), Stuart and Jonathan (Colleen); and his great grandchildren, Liam, Luke, Grace, Peter, Emma, Henry, Charlotte, Amy, Clara, Murphy, Claire, Hanlan and River. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and family friends.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that commemorative donations be made to the Heart & Stroke foundation, or a charity of your choice.
