He was predeceased by: his sisters, Audrey Stewart (late Bill) and Verna Hanning (Bill). He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his children, Grant, Angie, Gary and Michael; his siblings, Joe (Eileen), Murray, Dave (Pat) and Norma; his siblings-in-law, Heather Cochrane (Jim), Jackie McKinley, Ian Murphy, Maureen Vogan, Jenny Keays (Brian) and Glen Murphy (Kim); and his friend Bill W.. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

If desired, donations made to Oak Bridge Academy (a school for children with special needs) in memory of Bruce would be appreciated by the family.
