He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Thomson and Queenie Thomson (Truscott). He is survived by: his wife Vera (Ross); his children, Patti Thomson (Al), Linda Thomson (Gary) and Jim Thomson (Laura); his grandchildren, Eliza, Kate, Aaron, Robyn, Danielle and Lauren; his great grandchildren, Jamie, Zack, Tessa, Claire, Kira, Sylvie and Cameron; and his siblings, Shirley Gibbon (Jim) and Ron Thomson (Pat).
