He was predeceased by: his parents, John Reid and Marion Reid. He is survived by: his wife Janet Grand; his sons, Peter Reid and Alexander Reid; and his brothers, Ian (Cecile), David (Aleta Crawford), Keith (Jan) and Bob (Barb). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Simcoe Funeral Home (38 James St E, Orillia, ON L3V1L1).

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Couchiching Conservancy Heartwood Fund.
