He was predeceased by: his siblings, Herb, Helen, Hazel and Marion; his friend Bryan Sargent (Louise); and also, David, Katie and Ben.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, David Nelson (Lida) and Cathy Nelson (Ernie Dodgson); his grandchildren, Darren (Josee), Sarah and Leah (Vince); his great grandchildren, Sadie and Cian; and his friends, Dale and Maureen.
