She was predeceased by: her husband George McGowan; her children, Rhonda (Myles Bradford) and Foster McGowan (Carolyn); her grandchildren, Hudson, Kian Bradford, Matthew, Andrew Soti, Connor and Stephanie McGowan; her parents, George Chew and Lucille Chew; and also, Lawrence (late Ruth) and Dorothy (James Sammon).
She is survived by: her siblings, Colleen (Peter Fryzuk), Beverley (late Conn Jarrett), Betty (late Norman Stock), David and Peter.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home - Wasaga Beach Chapel (509 River Rd W, Wasaga Beach, ON L9Z2X2). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
