Earl Boyd McDowell Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Earl Boyd McDowell of Wasaga Beach, Ontario, born in Brampton, Ontario, who passed away on August 17, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Earl leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Earl may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Rena; his children, Greg McDowell (Sarah) and Jane McDowell; his grandchildren, Bailey Spates (Steve) and Mackenzie McDowell; his great grandchildren, Jayden Anderson and Sydney Spates; and his parents, Clebert McDowell and Isabelle McDowell. He was also cherished by his extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Earl to the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
