He was predeceased by: his wife Doreen Hess (McMaster); his parents, Delmar Hess and Elsie Hess; and his siblings, Willard and Ida.
He is survived by: his children, Tara Hess, J. D. Hess (Nancy), Erin Babcock (Jay) and Britt Logan (Tony); his grandchildren, Brianne Chapman (Jed), Ceara Stratton (Kyle), Korey (Ally), Deanna Hess, Jade, Brett, Bridget Babcock, Quinn and Jack Logan; his great grandchild Ella; and his nieces and nephews, Donna, Kelly and Ken.
