It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vervena Aquash (Walpole Island, Ontario), who passed away on November 26, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Susan Aquash (Blackbird); her child Shirley; and her sibling Evelyn. She is survived by: her parent William Aquash; her significant other Pat Riley; her children, Robert Aquash, Darlene Joseph (Preston Kahosed), Jewel Aquash, Debra Aquash (Spencer Greenbird), Doris Aquash (Rosslyn Sands), Ron Aquash, Will, Robyn and Elaine; and her siblings, Jean, Glenson, Stanley, Willis and Melvin. She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
