He was predeceased by: his parent Elijah Blackbird; and his sibling Virginia Herndon. He is survived by: his parent Isabel Blackbird (Wright); his spouse Deborah Young; his children, Royce, Julias (Lee-Ann), Nick (Rhonda), Robin and Wanita (Daniel); and his siblings, Lorraine Horton, Genevieve, Martell, Lyna, Lavina Reed, Ella Jane Wrightman, Adaline Aquash, Bertha Una Murphy, Wilbert and Simon. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
