He was predeceased by: his parents, Alcide Therrien and Gladys Therrien (Wright); and his brother Chris Therrien. He is survived by: his close friend Deb Smith; his children, Michael Therrien, Shon Therrien (Jacqui), Jeff Therrien (Kim), Brett Therrien (Nicki) and Chantelle Coyne; his grandchildren, Deshon, Julyen, Cameron, Libertee, Xander, Austin and Mariah; and his siblings, Janet Dumouchelle (Jim), Dave Therrien (Brenda), Barb Wilson (Lee), Ken Therrien (Michelle), Claudette Therrien (Dave) and Debbie Therrien. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
