She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur VanVaerenberghe and Jean VanVaerenberghe (Hofmans); her brother Floren Vanvaerenberghe; and her son-in-law Ed Babanin. She is survived by: her husband Murray Dierx; her children, Peter Dierx (Nancy) and Jeanne Dierx-Babanin; her grandchildren, Donna Lashmore, Richard Fehr (Renee), Robert Dierx, James Dierx and Natalie Dierx; and her great grandchildren, Jacob, Jessi, Willow and Juniper. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
