He was predeceased by: his parents, Grant Whitmarsh and Phyllis Whitmarsh (Cyster); his brothers, John, Eric and Dennis; and his brother-in-law Marcel Christiaens.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Whitmarsh (Christiaens); his grandchildren, Ashley (Arren), Brandi (Phil), Aiden and Kathleen; and his great grandchildren, Berlin, Finley and Sophia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
