It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Madeline Phoebe Emery of Wallaceburg, Ontario, who passed away on August 13, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Benninger and Mary Ellen Benninger (Lozon); her husband Douglas Emery; her siblings, George Benninger (Vera), Veronica Benninger, Helen Beaulieu (Fern) and Francis Benninger; and her siblings-in-law, Phyllis Wilson (Glen), Bernice Lozon (Herman), Earl Emery (Thora), Lorne Emery, John Emery and Orville Emery.

She is survived by: her children, Kathy Zalewski (Mark) of Ancaster, Karen Emery of Chatham, Lynne Steele of Burlington and Michael Emery of Wallaceburg; her grandchildren, Dayna Williams (Wayne), Amber Williams, Ian Wicks (Heather), Alexandra Zalewski and Ryan Steele; her great grandchild Luke Wicks; and her sister-in-law Alma Emery.
