He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Babbitt and Wanda Babbitt (Yax); and his siblings, Jim, Charlie, Isobel Homorodean (Cornell), Virginia Babbitt and Marion Murphy (Tom).
He is survived by: his wife Betty Babbitt (Taylor); his sons, Richard Babbitt and Robert Babbitt (Crystal); his grandchildren, Nathan, Anna, Cameron, Caleb, Cassandra and Klarissa; and his sisters-in-law, Marg Babbitt, Evelyn Babbitt and Lanna Pratt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
