With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Mary MacKenzie of Wallaceburg, Ontario, who passed away on August 19, 2020 at the age of 101. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Mary MacKenzie to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Don; her parents, John Francis and Elizabeth Francis; and her siblings, Dorothy "Dorrie", John "Jack", Don, Robert "Bob" and Gordon "Dick".
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Wilton (Ian), Laurie MacNeill (Les) and Sarah Warrener (Don); her grandchildren, Stuart, Heather (Wayne), Scott (Carol), Kevin (Monica) and Melissa (Eddie); and her great grandchildren, Kyra, Cole, Nate, Jude, Hailey, Stevie, Evie and Lucas. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Given the current pandemic situation, we were so grateful that following a brief hospital stay, Joan was given palliative care placement at the Parkwood Institute.
