She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Highfield and Margaret Highfield (Webb); her husbands, Hugh McCann and Kenneth Walton; her grandson Adam; and her siblings, Marian Davich (Nick), Ernest Highfield (Lily May), Joseph Highfield (Alice), Clarence Highfield (May), Allen Highfield (Lorraine) and Simpson Brigham (Lorraine).
She is survived by: her children, Carol Thompson (Bruce), Michael Walton, Murray Walton (Dianne) and Martin Walton; and her stepchildren, Robert McCann, Hugh McCann Jr. (Mandy), Darlene Bateman (Doug) and Bill Ballantyne. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chapel of the Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
