With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gordon Richard Brookes of Wallaceburg, Ontario, who passed away on July 25, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Brookes and Phoebe Brookes (Hale); his wife Anne Brookes; and his sibling Beryl Wilkes. He is survived by: his son Richard Brookes Dear (Christina); his grandchildren, Connor, Justin and Hayley; and his sisters, Lillian Lumsden (late Len) and Doreen Knott (Phil). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
