It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertrude Jean Coveny (Wallaceburg, Ontario), who passed away on June 2, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Emery and Cora Emery (Vincent); her husband John Coveny; her brother John Emery (Colleen); her siblings-in-law, Patricia Foster (late Tom), Paul Coveny and Marian Coveny (Deb); and her grandson Michael Blackburn.
She is survived by: her children, Kerry, Greg Stone, Diane, Brad Blackburn, Tim Coveny (Deb Vancoillie), Christine, Wally Romansky and Patti; her sister Patricia DeWolf (late Maurice); and her siblings-in-law, Jackie Guertin (Ken), Mary Catherine Aarssen (late Ron), Margaret Ann Luciuk, Maureen, Davis (Bill), Claire Cadotte (Ken) and Carmen Myers (Tony). She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
