He was predeceased by: his parents, Garfield Nicholas and Jessie (Olmstead); and his sister Leona "Nonie" (Nicholas). He is survived by: his wife Marie Louise (Roegiest); his children, Nick Olmsted, Tracy (Browning), Paul Rock and Michelle (Olmsted); his grandchildren, Jesse Olmsted, Alannah Byers, Kyle Olmsted, Kassandra (MacCandless), Dylan Rock, Shelby Lee Olmsted and Tori Rock; his sibling Pat Burton; and his sisters-in-law, Jeanetta Roegiest and Irma (Roegiest).
