Donald James Labadie Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2025, at the age of 83, Donald James Labadie of Wallaceburg, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Labadie and Madeline Labadie (DeCedar); his daughter Deneen; his great grandchild Tayah; his siblings, Bella and David; and his sister-in-law Shirley Kuni (late Steve).
He is survived by: his wife Linda Labadie; his children, Lorrie Remington (Mark), Michelle Lang (Henry) and Steven Labadie (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Josh, Lacy, Samantha, Cassidy, Ryann and Evan; his great grandchildren, Trinity, Trenton, Reece and Penelope; and his siblings, Tom Labadie (Vivienne), Carole Lucier (late Rosaire), Darlene Labadie and Gary Labadie (Mary Ann). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. (639 Elgin St, Wallaceburg, ON N8A3C6). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady Help of Christians Church (422 Elgin St, Wallaceburg, ON N8A3C1).
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Chatham-Kent Hospice or St. Vincent de Paul may be left at the funeral home.
