He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Galbraith and Cleada Galbraith; and his sister Sherry Beecroft (Fred). He is survived by: his siblings, Wayne Galbraith, Cathy Taylor, Ed Galbraith (Marie), Bert Galbraith and Laurie Galbraith; his wife Jill (Foster); his children, Jennifer Volkes (Tom) and Koren Barry (Rich); and his grandchildren, Michael, Allie and Jason. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
