She was predeceased by: her son Brad; and her parents, Bob Bending and Verna Bending of Wallaceburg. She is survived by: her spouse Ken; her child Keeley McMullin (Brett); her child-in-law Lori; her grandchildren, Dylan (Brandi Thompson) and Trevor; and her sister-in-law Elda Murphy (late Melvin).

On Wednesday, January 2, 2019, Kay's long battle with Alzheimer's ended peacefully as she left us with broken hearts.
